Hi @nivos89
Thanks for reaching out.
I took a look at your site, and it seems like there are events, has the issue been resolved? Is this happening to new events only? If so, can you provide me with more details about the steps you go through to create them, please?
Hi Chika,
Thank you for your message.
Yes the problem is for new events only. everything you see currently on the website has been inputted months ago.
Please see the test event i’ve tried to upload for 4th Nov at 9:30am which was successfully published but does not show.
uploaded : https://imgur.com/QW7eatp
right date: https://imgur.com/e107nHL
not showing : https://imgur.com/BbD9CDf
Hope this makes more sense? let me know your thoughts.
Thanks in advance!
Hey @nivos89
Thanks for getting back to me.
Are you able to navigate to the event via the URL?
Can you try a few of the troubleshooting steps below and let me know if you’re able to narrow down the issue, please?
1. A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-nineteen to see if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, please try running a quick conflict test on your site. This test will reveal if any other element of your site, the theme, or one of the plugins, is causing conflicts. You can follow the steps mentioned in the link below and share the results with me, https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/.
2. Can you reset your permalinks, please? (likely not the issue, just want to rule it out) https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/fixing-http-404-errors/
Hi Chika,
I’ve updated the theme and that seemed to have helped. currently works smoothly – thank you for the willingness to help!
Hi @nivos89, awesome! Good to know that @chikaibeneme was able to help you with this one.
If you have some time to review, that would be amazing!
