I’m interested in using your hit counter, but when I viewed the ‘Hello World’ demo page (http://kentothemes.com/demo/kento-pvc/), there was no hit counter displayed. Am I doing some thing wrong?

Hi,
I just installed your hit counter plugin on my twenty twelve themed site. On the ‘welcome’ page (static page – not blog) I inserted the following
<?php echo do_shortcode(“[kpvc_single]”); ?>
at the bottom of the page (in ‘Text’ view), and updated the page (http://www.condorxcsoaring.com) Now I get the hit counter icons, but it looks like part of the php code is displayed as well, and I don’t get the actual numbers – just the icons. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Could you please try Kento Post View Counter Settings page Hide Count on Post checked and save

I checked the box ‘Hide Count on Post’, saved changes, and reloaded my home page (static page in twenty twelve theme). Now the icons are gone, but I still see the following:
Total Views Views Today

first Remove shortcode you added
And add this shortcode [kpvc_single] to end of page content.

Thanks for the quick response.
With just ‘[kpvc_single]’ at the bottom of the page (and with the ‘Hide Posts…’ option CHECKED), I get:
[bargraph icon] Total [linegraph icon] Views Views Today
with no numbers, even though the stats page says I have 36 hits total and 8 today.
If I then UNcheck the ‘hide posts’ option, I get:
[bargraph icon] Total [linegraph icon] Views Views Today
[bargraph icon] Total [linegraph icon] Views Views Today
i.e. *two* rows of text and icons, but neither one has the actual numbers – weird!!
