New Installation Creates Two Backups Simultaneously

    I like your program but fine tuning might help immednsely.

    I installed it last week and set an automatic backup for 11 pm daily and found that it almost crashed my site. My backup is 3.2GB large and it created 3 backups simultaneously.

    Since, I have removed and reinstalled with not touching the schedule whatsoever. Looking under ‘complete daily’ I can see a new backup but I received 2 emails regarding a site backup vice the three from last week.

    I went into the storage folder on the server and see that it created two backps simultaneously.

    Can you help? I am using ver 2.1.1

    Tonight it backed up 3 copies at 3.1GB each….even sent me three emails.

    oh and I havent touched any settings whatsoever since this new copy was reinstalled.

    Well thanks ahead…server crashed last night at 11pm after trying to do 2 backups simultaneously. My site was down until this morning…

    Software such as this should be proven before put out there; I am sorry to say this but it was running at only default settings.

    Hi flamenko,

    I understand your frustration, unfortunately it’s impossible to test a plugin such as this with every possible server setup.

    I’d love to get to the bottom of this issue though.

    Could you try deleting the schedules and re-adding them, I’m wondering if something has caused one of your schedules to register it’s cron multiple times.
