New installation when setting up a network ?

    Hello guys,
    I have a existing e-commerce store and would like to expand it to other country. I already bought a new domain and read about Multisite network.

    My question is: Is there a way I can simply add new domain incl. translation, etc. to my existing domain, or do I need fresh installation and create Multisite network ?

    All products should use same stock from WooCommerce.

    Multisite is just a WordPress feature that can be activated on an existing WordPress at any time. You don’t need to install a fresh WordPress. Here’s the official documentation:

    Create A Network

    When you have multisite activated, you can create subsites and assign your new domain to the subsites.

    All products should use same stock from WooCommerce.

    Note that each subsite in a Multisite network is a complete and independent WordPress site. I don’t know much about building multi-lingual websites, but I’m not convinced multisite is the best (or even the right) path for you given your requirement to “use the same stock from Woocommerce”.

    I’ll recommend you look into multi-lingual plugins that support Woocommerce and independent domains for each of the translated language sites. WPML seems to satisfy both conditions, though it’s not a free plugin. See WPML’s features here.
