Hi kimbert,
When you go to (Dashboard > Updates), do you get the theme listed there to be updated?
Also, are you on a WordPress multisite installation (network)?
Thanks.

no that is the problem I only have one theme on my dashboard
another question I have..;
I tried to put in my google verification and got this
message. I took this code from my web host but what is making it a false positive?
403 Forbidden
A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site, and has been blocked by Wordfence.
If you are an administrator and you are certain this is a false positive, you can automatically whitelist this request and repeat the same action.
I am certain this is a false positive.
Yeah, it’s mostly false positive, do you mind let me know how exactly you added this code to your website? using a theme panel or something like that?
For now, you can simply whitelist this action, or turn the “Firewall Status” to “Learning Mode” and add the code (it won’t get blocked this time), then revert the “Firewall Status” back to “Enabled and Protecting”.
Regarding the theme update issue, please go to (Wordfence > Diagnostics) and scroll down the page till “Send Report by Email” and send the report to “alaa [at] wordfence [dot] com”, make sure to include your forum username, I will take a look at this report and let you know my findings.
Thanks.
yes i added it in the tools section of my wordpress dashboard.
I relooked at my site dashboard and that plugin isn’t there anymore
and I didn’t mark it as an ignored issues
Could you please run a manual scan and watch for the result? it will be nice if you can provide me with a screenshot showing this message too.
BTW, I just want to make sure that the URL under (Wordfence > Diagnostics => WP_CONTENT_URL) is the correct wp-content folder for your website, could you please confirm that? because when I checked this URL, I can see you have “Twenty Sixteen” theme installed and I didn’t find “Optimizer” theme folder there.
Thanks.
