It really depends on how they currently use the redirects with the plugin.
Since the plugin does not currently use any form of JavaScript on the front end and very limited use on the back end for a few minor admin items, it may not work 100% for dynamically updated menu items from the customizer.

That, although, would depend on how the menu plugin/add-on is generating the new menu links – if it uses an ajax call to WordPress and gets the generated permalink (while still utilizing the filters and hooks for those items), then it should still work in theory.

This will require some additional testing, but until it really becomes an issue, then we do not have the time to get that involved in the testing of it.

If you want to try it on a dev version of your site (which you should have if you have that many users and people visiting the site), and let us know what you find, that would be very helpful.

    Warmest regards,
    Don

    Prophecy2040,

I may have misled you accidently. I myself DO NOT have that many users (wish I did!). I was referring to all of the downloads that this plugin has generated over time. I’m assuming that quite a few still use it, and was just trying to let you know what is “Coming Down the Pike” in the near future so that you could prepare for it.

    I like this plugin.

Thank you for your quick response.
