New Member Emails Issue

This has been an ongoing issue for a few months where when new members setup a profile I’m not always sent an email, which I do have enabled. Now, I also use the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin.

The interesting thing is that when I get spam registrations I get those emails that they signed up. However, when a real person signs up and pays for their subscription (whereas the spam ones do not pay), I do not get an email for a new member. I do get the email about a successful member subscription being active on the legit people but no new member email with their details.

Hi @godthor,
1. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a screenshot with everything you have installed related to Profile Builder and Paid Member Subscriptions (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?
2. Could you please provide the URL of the Registration form where you encounter this issue?
3. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Settings -> General Settings -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
4. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Settings -> Email Customizer -> Administrator Emails -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?

Hi @godthor,

Could you please send the PB settings? Please install the “Import and Export Settings Addon” from Profile Builder -> Add-ons. Then export your Profile Builder settings and send the file. If I’m able to replicate it locally, we should be able to find a solution for it.

Hi @godthor,

Thank you for sharing your Profile Builder settings.

I was able to observe the issue you mentioned, and from my initial investigation, it’s related to the integration with Paid Member Subscriptions. With this in mind, I want to mention that I’ve created a task and forwarded it to our development team so that it can be further investigated and fixed in one of our next plugin updates.
