My wordpress does not send an email notification of a new private message. All other email notifications are working.

I’ve read this before and checked it again. Cron job starts every 15 minutes, I’ve also tried to run cron job manually. Today I sent several messages at various times to the test account and no notifications on the email. The test account is logged out all day.

strange, nobody reported anything similar before.

Can you check if you have [{{{site.name}}}] You have unread messages: {{subject}} in your BuddyPress emails templates?

Can you also install Email Log plugin and try again, than we can know exactly that plugin dont send anything:

Yes i have it, i also reinstalled all emails in BuddyPress tools. I will make a test without your plugin, and I will let you know soon.

Also ensure that test user have enabled message notifications in profile settings.

I checked without a plugin, and email notifications come immediately. I have all BuddyPress emails translated into Polish, is this a problem?

I’m having this problem and it’s been on-going for a while, a couple months or more, just haven’t had a chance to look into it until now.

Deactivating BP Better Messages and email notification then works – so something going on here! So at least 3 people have this issue for a while now.

I’m using the premium version with websockets v 1.9.7.1. This seems to be the latest version.

Please consider this urgent.

I’ve found that unread messages notification gets sent if Ajax is selected instead of Websocket (licensed).

I will send an email to “Andrij” who I’ve corresponded previously on another issue. Please let me know as soon as it is received.
