New multisite install

    Hi

    Disabled all plugins apart from Broadcast. Default install with debug enabled. Go to create new post and at the top I get “ThreeWP_Broadcast: Blog is switched. Not broadcasting.”

    Detailed Debug (note the same debug log appears with all other plugins both enabled and disabled).

    High enough role to link: yes
    Post supports custom fields: yes
    Post supports thumbnails: yes
    High enough role to broadcast custom fields: yes
    High enough role to broadcast taxonomies: yes

    When I create a new post I see:

    2017-03-06 16:53:13.1488819193.013 ThreeWP_Broadcast: No _POST available. Not broadcasting.

    Your message is … weirder.

    What is the problem? Just the message at the top?

    Good and Bad News: We get the following error ThreeWP_Broadcast: Blog is switched. Not broadcasting. – the plugin causing this is “BadgeOS Community AddOn”. Unfortunately the badges and gamification on our site is hugely important, we were about the buy the add on pack as we use Learndash and need the extra features.

    If we can’t get Broadcast and BadgeOS to play together well we’re truly stuck.

    If debug is enabled (every option) and you post a new page or post you get a new page showing

    Ah, yes! This very much looks like the problem!

    Each call to switch_to_blog MUST be followed later by one call to restore_current_blog. It’s not only good karma, is the WordPress Law. 🙂

    Now getting this fixed will require the author of the plugin in question to update his plugin. And since that thread is 10 months old… does it look like anything will happen anytime soon?
