I have an EasyDigitalDownloads website. https://pmmadeeasy.com

    I’m being told by PayPal:
You’re using an outdated version of PayPal. Support will be phased out by the end of 2026. If you’re on an eCommerce platform, go to your payment settings to upgrade. For direct integrations, visit the Upgrade Hub.

Currently my buyers are now being forced to open a PayPal account even if they make the choice to use a debit or credit card.

I don’t know how to tell which PayPal extension I’m using.

Do I need a new PayPal extension? If so, which one?

Will this make it so people can use a debit or credit card again without the need to open a PayPal account?

    Hey @hotbiz1

I just checked the website now and you are using the latest PayPal payment gateway available, PayPal Commerce, so you should be good to go.

We don’t have control over when PayPal requires an account or not. That can depend on the location of the customer, amount, and other factors that EDD can’t control.
