I had Google authenticator set-up with your plugin. Every time I signed in, I was asked for a code. However, when I went to Users, it said that 2FA was not activated!

I then activated it, using my new phone, and my User was now specified as activated. However, when I login now, when I enter the code from my new phone, your app then asks for another code (this has to be the code from the old phone).

I’ve just completed deactivated 2FA. However, when I login now, I’m still asked for a code! I guess I need to completely reinstall the plugin (although note, this is not a fix for this bug!).

I uninstalled the plugin, and reinstalled it. I checked that no code was required logging in, there wasn’t, as expected. I then went to activate 2FA on my admin user (there is only one user). I scanned in the code on Google Authenticator app. However, when I login it says that the code is wrong.

This has wasted a lot of my time. Something seriously wrong. Rest of my site works fine.

As I’m now locked out of the website (via the official WordPress login page), I now have to delete the plugin from the web server itself!

This was a clash with another plugin that used to do 2FA, then stopped doing it, then started doing it again. The plugin in question had initially made the 2FA functionality premium only.

NOT A PROBLEM with YOUR plugin. Just to be clear. Thanks. Closed.
