New posts aren’t automatically posting to Twitter

We just installed WP to Twitter and have set it up. Everything looks good, but when we publish a post on the WordPress website, it isn’t automatically published to Twitter.

Is it because we disable RSS feeds on our website? Does this plugin utilize it?

When I manually post from inside of WordPress (post page), the tweet is sent but it doesn’t use the template I set up under “Update when Posts are published”. It used the “Update when Posts are edited” field instead that says “Post Edited: <title> <url>”
