New Posts shutting down browser

    I installed wordpress 2.1.3 on a new domain. I can change the theme, etc., but I get an error message and my browser shuts down whenever I attempt to write a new post or edit the original Hello World post. It has been shutting down both Crazy Browser and Internet Explorer. How do I fix this?

    What version of IE are you using? Any security programs in place?

    I’m using IE 6.0. No special security programs…. AVG antivirus, ZoneAlarm firewall. I have other wordpress blogs that are an earlier version and they are working just fine. It’s just the new 2.1.3 install that closes down the browser.

    Have you tried turning off the Visual Editor?

    How do I turn off the Visual Editor? I can’t get to any features in the “write” tab…. my browser closes as soon as I click on it.

    Go to users>your profile> uncheck use visual editor.
