New role can’t access profile.php

    Hi,

    I created a new role with the following capabilities:

    View post on imgur.com

    But users with this role can’t access to the profile.php (Access Denied).

    Is it normal? How can I let those people change their password?

    Hi @maximang,

    Thank you for the message. Nope that is not normal. With the quick scan through the capabilities I do not find any reasons why your user is not allowed to edit profile.

    Did you restrict access to this page on the Backend Menu tab?

    Oh thanks, I found the problem:
    I restricted the access to Backend Menu -> Users -> Your Profile
