• I’ve created a new subsite, and in the site’s list admin area (/network/sites.php) it has the correct domain there, e.g. mydomain.com, but in the edit area for the Site Address (URL) field it is saving as ://mydomain.com/ and I can’t save over it with the correct URL, https://mydomain.com/ — it gives a success message “Site info updated” but it doesn’t actually change.

I’ve done some further testing and had a few things to note:

    • This is happening to any new subsites being added
    • In the site’s edit area, there is no title. At the top of the page it just says: “Edit Site: “
    • If I try navigating to the custom domain, I get an error: “Error establishing a database connection”
    • I tried turning off plugins and reverting the .htaccess file to pre-plugin changes
    • When I first setup this multisite, I tested a subsite and it was working at that point in time (around August of this year)
    • After further testing, I noticed it does not seem to matter if I am doing a normal subdomain subsite or custom domain
    • If I go to the Settings tab in the edit area there is only one field: Site Upload Space Quota

    Thank you for your time
