New tab disabled but javascript still added

    I have disabled “open in tab” in the settings but the javascript to open in new tab is still being added. Same goes for the “noopener” option.

    I also have this enabled on a dev site. Same install, same settings. You can see that here…

    Sorry for the delayed reply, I wasn’t receiving the emails about new comments on this plugin and I was unaware.

    Anyway, I can see that the button on the notice on your site doesn’t have the target blank attribute added. So I assume the issue has been resolved.

    I’m not sure what you mean though about “the javascript to open in a new tab” as the plugin uses standard target=”_blank” when the option is selected, there is no javascript involved in that. So I’m assuming perhaps your site had some other script adding JS to the site for this…
