I’m exploring a new theme for the website, which needs a fresh look, but want to make sure that the formatting isn’t going to go haywire for the text and images when this is done. The site has a lot of pages and I’m fine with the overall look. I’m also very used to the dashboard and how it works when I need to make changes.

I can see previews for some of the new themes that seem to work well, but they only show the home page not the others and I need to preview those as well.

Don’t simply direct me to the other forum that’s about themes please, as these simply relate to questions about a specific theme, which I haven’t chosen at this point.

what you need to do is install and customize the new theme. There’s really no way around that. This is best done on a staging site.

I see. So I can choose a new theme, then customize it on this staging site before it goes live, while in the meantime the existing on is still operating?
