    Hello,

I’ve been working in a staging enviornment to set up my new theme. I’ve had countless issues with saving theme templates. I’ve allowed the theme developers access to my site and they’ve said the following:

Upon checking, it seems that the issue is generated by the Security by
CleanTalk plugin. I’ve disabled and enabled the Google Analytics code, and it
seems that after I deactivated the security plugin and GA Google Analytics, and
    saving works.

I believe that the issue is between these 2 plugins, however, I am not sure
if testing is accurate, since the Cloudflare cache is still loading in my
    dev console:

There are also many requests block, my suggestion is to try to ask the host
to check the issue as well since these seem to be server related:

Please try to contact the plugin developers regarding this matter and try to
ask the host to check the requests that are blocked from the server-side,
as it does not seem to be generated by our products.
    I’ve re-enabled the 2 plugins mentioned above.

    Could you please advise?
    Thank you,
    Crystal

I want to help, but will need clear/concise steps to replicate this issue locally on default WordPress install. For example, the steps should look something similar to this:

    1) Install WP, leave all at defaults (settings, plugins, theme)
    2) Install GA plugin, configure however such and such
    3) Install the other plugin, configure however etc.
    4) Perform some action to view the bug

That way I (or anyone listening) can follow along and reproduce the issue on default WP. That is necessary in order to investigate and try to resolve any issue.

Let me know if any questions about this, thank you @crystalizeddesigns.

    1) Install WP (not sure what settings were changed from when I created it years ago)
    2) Install GA Google Analytics
    3) Add Google Tracking ID
    4) Install Security by CleanTalk
(staging site created for theme change)
    5) Install Thrive Dashboard by Thrive Themes
    6) Install Thrive Theme Builder (theme, not plugin)
    7) Install Thrive Architect
    8) Attempt to adjust theme templates and save
    9) Template with ads on them won’t unless GA Google Analytics and CleanTalk Security are disabled
    10) Thrive Theme developers accessed staging site to find the problem and determined it’s between the 2 plugins but haven’t had any issues with errors prior to process of theme change

Screenshot of just one example of errors: https://www.crystalized-designs.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Screenshot-2020-05-10-13.03.21.png

    Video of error happening: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuWJvlB

I hope this information helps. Beyond this, I’m not sure how else I can help. I’m not knowledgeable in web design/terminology.

    Thank you,
    Crystal

Thanks for the information. It looks like a lot of other plugins/themes involved, so it may take some time to get to all of this. If you discover any further clues, please feel free to share. Thank you

Hey @crystalizeddesigns, sorry for the long delay with this. Was not able to recreate the issue on default WP setup. Most likely there is some conflict with that particular combination of plugins and maybe the theme. Best advice would be to try another GA plugin hopefully will be able to work properly with your specific setup.

    Hello,

This is a theme issue from what I’m understanding. They’re working on fixing it I believe. Thank you for your time.
