Yeah, it’s possible but you don’t need a new trigger 🙂
In Notification Settings enable triggers for Comments and add new notification – Comment edited. Then add a merge tag recipient using comment author emails. Voila!

Hi, thank you for your answer!
In WP menu “Notification -> Settings” I cant find option “Enable triggers for Comments”. Can you explain me where I can find this option?
Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your answer!
In “Comment types” I have “Comment”, “Pingback” and “Trackback”, but I cant see option “Comment edited” in selectbox “Trigger” at form “Add new notifications”.
OMG, I’m an idiot and you are right. There’s no trigger for comment edits, sorry.
I’ll add this probably in the next version of the plugin, should be ready at the beginning of the next year.

Hi, it is okay and thank you for your answer!
I have another question (maybe bug?) – if I modify the content of the comment (via quick edit or normal edit) it is not saved (modify name and e-mail is working). Can you help me?
Edit:
Im looking forward to updating!

I think I already got this on my list: https://github.com/Kubitomakita/Notification/issues/56
But I cannot find time to release the patch 🙁

Hi, it is possible add a new trigger to send notifications to comment author after editing a comment in the WP admin panel? For example: if I edit comment, plugin send notification to comment author. Thank you!
