Hi @keywon
Sorry to hear you are having this inconvenience.
I have tested updating the plugin in a similar environment (WP and Elementor) but was not able to reproduce this issue. Could you provide more info about the critical error message displayed in your site or a copy of the entry from the error log?
About the current layout appearance issue, could you check if clearing the cache in the site and the server helps? Also go to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS and click the Regenerate Files button to make sure any custom style coming from the Elementor plugins is displayed.
Kind regards
Luis

it was a message like this (there was a critical error on your site. Check your admin email for more information)
well, I have done all that, regenerate css, cleared cache and minnified css, deleted forminator and reinstalled, tried 3-5 previous versions, deactivated other plugins to check the issue etc)
Same thing also happened somewhere around your 1.15.__ updates. But then I rolled back to previous version and everything was also back to normal. But I had to stick that version for a longtime as every new update was giving the same error as mentioned above. I think error stopped appearing somewhere around 1.18.__ update.
Hi @keywon
Thank you for response!
After you re-installed the plugin, the form is now loading and isn’t breaking the site – but it is just missing the styling, right?
Would you please open the page with browser webdeveloper tools open (CTRS+SHIFT+I on PC), load the page with the form and see if there are any errors reported there? If yes, let us know what are they, please.
Kind regards,
Adam

it’s not showing any errors or issues now on any browser on PC when I’m not signed into my wp dashboard. Showing issues when signed in only.
but on mobile, it’s still the same all the time as it shows on pc when I’m signed in to my wp dashboard.
suggest a fix plz
Hi @keywon
A 500 error should return a log line in debug.log file, could you enable the debug mode and see if it returns any relevant information? https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/
We also have a report that happens when ExecCGI is disabled, can you please check if this is happening on your end too? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/css-styling-never-loaded-because-of-error-in-console/
Let us know the result you got.
Best Regards
