    Sorry to hear that but the intention was to make it better.
    I had people complaining that images without caption would leave empty white spaces below the image which was the result of other images with captions!
    This was the only reason to overlay the captions on the image.

    You can always use the previous version until I add an option to chose which one to use!

    In version 1.1.2 you have the option to chose between the two different slider types!
