I am using the latest update from AcmeBlog theme and latest version of wordpress as well. Wonder why the page loads longer now. Any hint ?

Hello tanureja,

It seems like your site is very slow. We don’t think it is really cause of theme. AcmeBlog is only 879kb in zip, further style.css is less than 32kb.
Please test your site to gtmetrix ( https://gtmetrix.com/ ), PageSpeed Insights ( https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ ) and etc and try to optimize you site. You can also use cache plugin.

Note : https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.demo.acmethemes.com/U1U8BhEw , Our demo site ( http://www.demo.acmethemes.com/acmeblog/) loads in 1.8s without any optimization.

Yes, you are right. After I use plugins for browser cache. It loads faster now.
