New users can't register

I’ve done this: – In Dashboard > Settings > General, make sure the checkbox for “Anyone can register” under Membership is checked.

So now when new users go to: http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=register to signup the page automatically redirects to my homepage url – http://mysite.com and they are not able to signup. Can someone help?
