The Ivory Search plugin has nothing to do with the switch users plugin so please contact the switch users plugin support to resolve the issue.
If you have any issue with the search form provided by the Ivory Search plugin then could you please share the page URL from your site where it is happening so that I can troubleshoot it?
Yes, I get that but since this problem only happened after your plugin crashed my site I figured it might be related. Why else would this drop down thing happen with your plugin and then all the others? It’s possible the crash of your plugin triggered something?
The dropdown thing is called an autocomplete of the field that displays recent searches in it.
This is a browser feature that can be disabled as described here https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Securing_your_site/Turning_off_form_autocompletion
It was disabled in the Ivory Search plugin but got enabled mistakenly in the plugin version 4.7.1 that I disabled again in the plugin version 4.8.1
The plugin update has nothing to do with other plugins such as the switch users plugin that you are using on your website.
I hope this makes things clear.
Thank you for the response. It just seems like an odd coincidence that it would suddenly happen in the other plugin as well right after the crash. But Firefox released a new version so maybe it’s that which is causing autocomplete in the other plugin then. Thank you.
You are always welcome here 🙂
