    Hi,
    After upadting your new version, the migration of the events doesn’t works properly. I have this message :
    “We detected an event that cannot be properly migrated. Please review the report below for more information. This issue must be resolved before you can migrate your site. Once you have updated or removed the problematic event, re-run the migration preview to make sure your site is ready to go.”

  • I can confirm I have a lots of errors with the same file

    the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Context/locations.php on line 50

    Hello,

    the same is happening to me. I have even disabled Total Cache but I keep having errors and not been able to upgrade the events:

    The event XXX generated an error: [TECEventsCustom_TablesV1ModelsOccurrence implements the Serializable interface, which is deprecated. Implement __serialize() and __unserialize() instead (or in addition, if support for old PHP versions is necessary)]. Please try again or check out our Troubleshooting tips.

    @matdeweb

    Thank you for reaching out!
    We are sorry to hear that the migration is not as smooth as planned.

    Would you mind reviewing the problematic event and checking if there is anything obvious going on? Additionally, you might want to read the following KB if you haven’t already to maximize your chances of a successful migration: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/migrating/

    @thesocialnerd as per the KB above, the error you are getting seems directly related to PHP 8.1 (which is not supported yet, even by WordPress). Rolling back to PHP 8 or below should fix the issue

    Hang in there!

    Hi Geoff,

    I am getting these errors on PHP 7.4

    [07-Sep-2022 06:52:11 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function is_main_query() on null in /home/xxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/common/src/Tribe/Context/locations.php:50

    Hi @paulshultz, sorry to hear about this. The version 6.0.0.1 should fix the issue with tribe_context( )->is( is_main_query ).

    Could you try updating to the latest version and see if that makes a difference?

    Let us know how it goes.

    Best,
    Abz

    @geoffbel Thank you! That did solve the issue and the migration was complete. Still, the events I have translated with Polylang do not show up on the correspondent languages. Am I doing something wrong?

    @thesocialnerd

    I am glad that you were able to fix the migration issue.
    With that in mind, Polylang compatibility is provided by the good folks at Polylang.

    I would recommend reaching out to them. Hopefully, they can help you out with that.

    Hang in there!

    Hi @matdeweb, sorry to hear about this. I could see Javascript errors on your page, which caused the page not to load correctly. See the screenshot here https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRuQlARK.

    Could you try testing for conflicts and switching to the default theme? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

    We’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server, to be safe and keep a working backup of your website.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Hi,
    When I changed theme, the calendar is ok. Ok, but I need to keep this theme Domino magazine. What can I do?

    Hi @matdeweb, could you check if there are minification settings/options in your theme? If there are would be great if you could click on that option, so it would run again the minification.

    Moreover, it would be great if you could reach out to the developers of the theme and check with them if they have any workaround. Or if they could assist you with the Javascript errors you’re having while using their theme.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Best,
    Abz

    It’s ok with the developpers of the theme. He change the page template for the calendar and now it’s ok.
