    Hi, seems the updated version stopped working properly on [ redundant link removed ]. thanks for advising? best regards, K (if you check the page: have reinstalled the former version now)

    @daanvandenbergh ah, understood, thanks! What I think is very interesting is that most people simply believe that GDPR does apply for each and every country. Check out §3 DSGVO ff. to find out what I mean. Greetings from Switzerland. ( @jdembowski : will not post link with details to this, but you will easily find out that I know this because I am the lawyer in the team behind the mentioned page, which is supported by swiss government 😉

    Ah! That’s interesting that you mention that. I should implement an option to leave GDPR compliance off by default. I’ll get to it soon.

    @daanvandenbergh yes please, if you care about minorities, please do it. Also because I cannot recognize any reason how an author of a plugin could be held responsible that the owner of a web page complies with legal rules (at least if we talk about your plugin and as long as your plugin does not funny stuff like a hidden transfer of data from its user to you)

    CAOS doesn’t do anything out of the ordinary except spy on you through your webcam from time to time… No, I’m joking, of course!

    I just released an update (v 1.51) which explicitly enables/disables all GDPR compliant functionalities. So, update and you should be fine!

    @daanvandenbergh After updating the plugin, it does not work with my site 🙁
    I checked the file local-ga.js and it’s not empty, it has a capacity of 34.44 kb
    My site is: thuthuatios.com
