Newbie needs help with adding code to page

    I know its simple but I do not know how to add the following code to my web page. Can someone provide some direction? The code I want to enter is as follows:

    Where do you want this to appear on your site? What theme are you using? Site link?

    Thank you very much for the prompt reply!

    I am attempting to place it on the front(first page) about 1/2 way down the right column. It is an Amazon widget that looks at the page and then offers similiar items for sale linked to my affiliate ID. The theme will adjust according to the site theme (Hopefully).

    I am trying to put it on my first experimental web site:

    http://myhdtv.hobbiesandcrafts.net using word press.

    I have found that learning this is like learning French with only getting instructions in French which makes it difficult.

    Oui, l’apprentissage WordPress peut être un défi, mais vaut bien l’effort.

    First, that is not going to work in a sidebar…it is too wide, it would work better in the header as a banner. That said, see if they offer this ad in a chimney style (thin in width, long in height)..often they do..that would be best in a sidebar…if so, just use a Text Widget.

    Second, you are using a Theme that is not supported here…this forum supports themes available here only. As such, you need to inquire about this with your theme provider (or use a theme from here).
