Newbie Template Configuration

    Hello, I have used wordpress.com previously, but I am new to ww.wp.xz.cn. I’ve created a domain through godaddy, and I’ve successfully installed wordpress, and the theme I am interested in using. I should mention this is a corporate site, not a blog. In any case, the theme I chose is “Enliven”, but after install, it looks nothing like the preview and I can’t figure out for the life of me how to make it look as such. I fully understand how to do the basics, like uploading the media I want (yet it seems when I can get those to show up on the site, they are out of focus). From there I’m lost. I’ve tried going through the documentation, but I’m not really finding anything pertaining to my issue. Can anyone please help?

    More details: This is a corporate site that will have three main areas/pages. I would like a fairly simple main page that completely mimics the Enliven preview seen here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/enliven/
    I am open to choosing a different theme, as long as it’s the same functionality.

    Fresh install of a theme will not look like how they show you on the theme demo page. This is because they have customised it after installation.

    Have you tried customising it as per your needs? Have you tried going to Appearance -> Customizer?

    And which part of this documentation you are not able to work with?

    Share a link to what you have done so far. May be that will give some more hints.
