    Good day.

Apparently, something has changed in the new version and I can’t get the plugin to work with Cloudflare even on fresh WP install. It goes into an infinite loop “too many redirects” as I try to activate the SSL.

    Settings:
    Cloudflare Flexible SSL
    Always use HTTPS: On
    Automatic HTTPS Rewrites: On

From what I recall, the plugin used to work with simple 1-click activation. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thank you,
    Serge

There had been a change regarding CloudFlare, in response to this thread:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/problem-with-cloudflare-definition/

As a result the plugin should now detect CloudFlare better! I can’t say if it’s caused by the change, or if it’s related to the setup you use, can you check if following the steps in the article below helps?

Unfortunately, none of the methods described worked: I don’t have any page rules and Cloudflare is set to bypass the cache, so there’s no “old data”.

I’m contacting you through the ticket. Thanks.

We’ve discovered it had nothing to do with CloudFlare, but was caused by the redirect to the settings page that was introduced in this version. The redirect was triggered too early, which caused the wp-config fixes not to get written.

We’ve updated the current 3.2.8 version without version change, as the fix only applies to new installs.

We’ll update to 3.2.9 in a few days, but until then you can just download the latest 3.2.8 version to get the patched version.

Thank you so much for your cooperation on tracking down this bug!
