First of all thank you so much for your great plug-in!
I have a question about [newsletter_profile] shortcode. There is a reason why it doesn’t include the unsubscribe option? The user can only modify his name and email address… I know that using tag {profile_url} or {unsubscription_confirm_url} in the newsletter the user can modify or cancel his subscription and this is useful for not WP registered users. But would be great if WP registered users can modify or cancel its own subscription directly on the website in a section that contains [newsletter_profile] without follow the link on the mail.

In a few words [newsletter_profile] should contain exactly what is set in “subscriber profile page”… It should be more user friendly and in accordance with GDPR regulation which allows the user to modify or delete their personal data in an easiest way.

    Thanks!

A logged in user which is connected to a subscription SHOULD see it’s subscription data and you can add the link to cancel configuring the profile page content (the link is already there on our default configuration).

Thanks for your reply. Users on my site don’t have access on backend. I use ultimate member plugin and each user has its profile on frontend. This is why I ask you why the [newsletter_profile] shortcode doesn’t include the cancellation url. I need to put this url in a specic frontend profile section.

Hi I don’t know how that plugin works, so probably we cannot recognize the current user as a subscriber. There are no options than let the subscribers to unsubscribe when you sent your newsletter (which is usually what everyone do).

    Stefano.
