next gen gallery PHP Max Upload Size issue

    Hi,
    I am trying to upload a zip folder in nextgen gallery and after a while the error comes back saying it couldn’t upload the folder.

    i looked at my upload file size limit and it says my system is set to 2M

    i changed the php.ini file and made it 9999M for a test but the upload zip file page in gallery admin still reads my system as having a limit of 2M

    does anyone have this problem or a solution.

    Hi

    Yes I have this issue too. Using 2.7 and have exactly the same php.ini file running on other hosting accounts also with next gen gallery. I have no solution for you but have the same problem.

    If you are running php5 on godaddy then you need to name the ini file: php5.ini. Save it in the root of your site. For more see godaddy support: http://help.godaddy.com/article/1085

    I am having this issue as well. When viewing phpinfo() I see that upload_max_filesize is 10M. So why is it still showing up in NextGen as 2M?
