Next Page Button Not Working

Hi there,

When I click on the Next button (or the page numbers 1 2 3), it does not navigate away from the first page, it just seems to reload/refresh it.

I’m using the Avada theme. And everything was working beautifully up until a week or two a ago and now I’m tearing my hair out unable to fix this!

Interestingly, I can not enable infinite scrolling nor increase the number of posts displayed per page to temporarily make it easier for my readers to scroll through the blog either.

I think this could be a theme issue? Or maybe a plugin clash? But I am very naive with regard to coding (i.e. I really don’t know what I am doing and have to Google to understand the jargon and then find the bit on my control panel which I need to try and modify!) so if anyone can help, giving really clear (even patronising!) instructions would help me immensely. Thank you so much in advance!
