Did you try switching to the default theme? Does it work then?

I switch to the default theme but this is special movie theme and in the default theme I do not see any movie so no second page, I installed WP-PageNavi but still the same error occurs.

Before working with wordpress I had a script for movies but I realized that wordpress is much better, and php it’s a little vulnerable.
BTW,WP PageNavi works just fine. Check the category view. For the theme related issue,please, contact the theme author
