Help me understand the context better.
Are you referring to when you change your Reading settings so that the posts page is assigned to a page you created as opposed to just being the frontpage, or do you mean you’ve added a list of posts into a page either with custom code or via a plugin?
If the latter, I don’t think pagination would just be supported by default without adding more custom code.
The former. I initially had the Reading settings set to 10 posts per assigned page (the Blog page I’ve linked to). To test with an extreme setting, I dialed it back to 3 per page. I thought the pagination would automatically display but it hasn’t. I’m not using custom code or plugins, just the basic Posts and Latest Posts Widget that come with WordPress.

Hmm, I’m really not sure at the moment, but I am working on an update. If you wouldn’t mind, could you request this fix on GitHub? That’s the best way to remind me to investigate this.
