Next / previous post within the same category

Hi guys,

I’ve been setting up a blog tonight which contains two categories, one called blog which is made up of posts containing photos/captions, and another called hypnagogia, which are post titles only.

This is a link to a single post within the blog category. As you can see, the next & previous links are both to posts within the hypnagogia category, which I don’t want! I only want posts within blog to link next/previous within the blog category only, and the same with hypnagogia.

I’ve gone through a heap of troubleshooting tips found here at the forum, and I’ve attempted various methods of implementing the next_post_link into my functions.php but I admit defeat and can’t for the life of me figure out how to get this working.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
