    Hi
I have created a leave policy for 2019 (we are currently in 2018).
I have assigned this leave to a staff member via leave entitlements and I can see the leave entitlement listed if I select 2019 as the filter on the leave entitlements page.

however, when I add a leave request for this employee, it only offers the 2018 leave entitlements as options to request leave against.
How can I select the 2019 (i.e. future year) leave entitlements to request leave against?

    Thanks

    Hi

Thank you for your interest in WP-HR Manager.

I have done some testing and I can see the issue on my site which is helpful. I found a temporary work around – I could submit leave from my own employee profile page in the back end (go the the profile and select ‘Take a Leave’ and although a warning message flashed up, I just clicked ‘Submit’ and it did so.

I am looking into the issue further an hope to resolve it soon, but in the meantime maybe the work-around suggested above will help for a short time?

I’ll come back to you as soon as I have more news.

    Hi

I just wanted to let you know we are still looking into this. At the moment, it’s not meant to be possible to book outside your financial year period (if you set the FY as 01 Jan then the holiday calendar is only supposed to allow you to book in the current calendar year). However, as I explained above, there is a workaround which bypasses this. But a broader change to the plugin is more complicated and we are considering if we can roll this in with some other significant enhancements to the plugin that would enable this capability.

    I’ll keep you informed.

Just to let you know the latest update extends the leave booking period so there is no longer a limit on past or future year bookings.
