Go to a Gallery and look for the gallery settings, normally you can select / change here the author

Unfortunately, it show the author name but I am unable to change it. There is no drop down menu just the author name.
And you a the ‘administrator’ ? (See under roles] you need to assign the correct capabilities for admins/author etc

Look for Roles -> “Manage others gallery:” normally you must be the admin to control all of them
i manage to set the roles so that other authors cannot tamper other galleries. the problem now is when i tried to add an image to other gallery it showa a message “# You do not have the correct permission” but also shows “1 Image(s) successfully added”
