    Hello,

After activated the “NextGEN Gallery Voting” plugin, the “NextGEN Public Uploader” plugin is stop working.

When the voting plugin is activated, after uploaded an image the image send to “Manage Galleries” but no thumbnail & description is not fill in. The image did not appearing in gallery. After uploading it did not show “Your image has been successfully uploaded.”

When the voting plugin is deactivated then uploader is working fine.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

    Hi jtran

I have had a few people say NGG Public Uploader is giving trouble with NGG Voting since NGG v2. I will have a look into it, but it’s probably a compatibility issue with NGG PU and NGG v2, as PU hasn’t been updated in nearly a year

    Hi again jtran

I just had some time to install NGG Public Uploader and find the problem. As I suspected, the uploader plugin hasn’t been updated to work with NGG v2. It is still passing a parameter as an array, when an object is expected. PHP in general can ignore things like that sometimes, but the voting plugin code was built to be explicit about what it required, as it is completely backwards compatible with NGG 1.9.x.

Anyway, I have added a work around in my code that will handle the uploader plugin’s error.
I cannot commit a proper point version release yet, but you can get the development release from here (look for ‘Development Version’ under the ‘Other versions’ heading).
Install that on your site and let me know if you have any more issues.
