Hi @linapina1
Thanks for letting me know – I am busy with a BIG rewrite at the moment, so I will test this feature with the latest NextGen. I will be in touch. Thanks
Hi Bradvin,
Same problem for me! Did you find a solution?
Best,
A.
Hey guys,
I have tested the Nextgen import with the latest version of NExtgen and it is working for me with no issues.
Kindly provide more details to help me debug this issue, namely the number of galleries and albums you are trying to import. When the page hangs, are there any javascript errors in the browser console?
I am trying with just one gallery at a time. I check that gallery and click Start Import. The page changes (doesn’t hang) to an almost empty page (just the instructions how to import visible) and displays a zero (0). I have tried with several galleries, same thing happens.
I would add screenshots for you but seems it’s not possible in these support forums?
Do you have Nextgen gallery plugin activated?
The reason I ask, is because checking the code, I do some checks if the NextGen plugin is activated

No as I said, just the Foo albums extension activated
Please can you activate the NExtGen plugin, and then try the import again.
I have made changes to remove the check in future releases
Yes, then it works fine.I thought it wasn’t a good idea to have the two plugins activated at the same time.
Great, so I guess I should start a new topic then for another question I have, not related to this topic. Now that I might consider using FooGallery plugin.;-)
Awesome! Glad that works. The next release of FooGallery will not require NextGen to be activated for the import.
Yes, please start another thread and I can help out
Thanks! Glad for the support!
Dear Bradvin,
I’ve always tried the import with the NextGen Gallery activated.
It do not work for me.
After reading your replies, I’ve tried to deactivate the NGG plugin, tried to import, then activate again the NGG plugin and tried again to import. But nothing works
I’ve got 33 galleries as I worked with NGG since many years now, so about 150 pics to transfer.
Is this too many for your importer?
Best,
Arthur
