    Hi NextGen support,

We have a Sermon plugin (Series Engine) installed into our site. I noticed that the sermon plugin doesn’t work properly if the NextGen gallery is activated. NextGen gallery has been our trusted gallery plugin ever since. I contacted the plugin developer of Series Engine and asked if they can check and resolve the issue. But they mentioned that it might not hurt to you if you can disable overzealous scripts on a page-by-page basis. It looks like they’re intercepting Series Engines javascript calls.

I hope you can check this issue.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @michfm

We checked the page, but it seems that our plugin is disabled at the moment, correct?

We need to take some notes and escalate this conflict to our developers
We may need to deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting temporarily. Would you feel OK with that?.
If so, please report this issue as a bug using this form: https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/. Be as specific as possible and let them know Gaby referred you.

Note: do not forget to include this forum’s link.
    Many thanks!

Just a quick update about this particular thread.

Mich has informed us that in case you are having issues with NextGen Gallery and Sermon plugin (Series Engine) you can edit a setting to fix this particular problem.

In the Series Sermon plugin settings, scroll down and look for this setting: Disable JavaScript Loading?, set that to “Yes”.
