NextGEN Thickbox stopped working – Please help!

    Hello everyone,

    As the title says, my NextGEN gallery has been working just fine but I just noticed that it’s not working anymore (probably after the recent update).
    It’s the effect (Thickbox) that’s not working. When I click on an image, it just shows me the main image on another page.

    I’ve seen some similar posts and tried the following but no luck…
    – deactivate the other plugins
    – installed the plugin “Lightbox Plus ColorBox” and switch to Lightbox from Thickbox
    – I’ve had <?php wp_header(); ?> and <?php wp_footer(); ?> all along

    Can anybody please help as I am so lost?

    Hey forumla, it looks like the version of thickbox that’s being used is so old that it’s using code that has been removed from the latest version of the javascript framework that wordpress uses, jquery.

    Is there an update to thickbox you could run or an update to nextgen?

    I see… but it seems there is no update to Thickbox or NextGen. Maybe I should uninstall it and install it back?

    No, that won’t do anything and may delete settings and galleries. Can you turn on lightbox in nextgen and let me take a look at the site?

    I’ve got it to work! Looks like there was a Javascript conflict. I removed a js file that wasn’t used and voila… Thanks for your time Andrew!
