@sheona – This is generally due to a plugin conflict … have you tried the steps outlined in this article: http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting
As to downloading older versions, they can be found here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/nextgen-gallery/developers/
Thanks!

Thanks Cais
Yes, definitely down to a plugin conflict – I’ve worked out that it happened when I updated 3 simultaneously (NextGen, Contact Form 7, and Print Friendly and PDF). Rolling back to an earlier NextGen while keeping the updates on the others didn’t work, so I guess it must be one of them. I’ve reloaded my entire site from before the updates – don’t know whether I’m brave enough to try them individually and see what happens. Unless you’ve got specific suggestions about how to do this, I might just leave it there!
Thanks again,
Sheona
@sheona – We use Contact Form 7 ourselves so I doubt the problem is specifically with it, the others I am not familiar with so I do not have any suggestions at the moment.

Just to let you know I also get the same problem. NextGen causes the whole site to go blank. Everything was working fine. I will try turning other plugins off and on.
OK for me the conflict seems to be with this plugin:

I will let the authors know.
@leftofcentre – Thanks for your update and passing on the information you found to the other authors but please keep in mind it would still be best (at least for future issues) to start your own topic for issues you are seeing.

Well now I’m not sure it’s a conflict – from the reload of my site with 3 plugins needing updating (where it all seemed to be working fine), I deactivated them all and then tried only the NextGen update, but the same blank screen happened.
If there’s further info. on this, and what you need to diagnose the issue, I’d be happy to follow up. Otherwise thanks for your help to get me this far!

@sheona – So you have everything up-to-date on your site and you are still seeing this issue … you also see the problem if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme, clear *all* caches, deactivate *all* plugins, then re-activate NextGEN Gallery only?
– Cais.
@sheona – We just released a new public beta which might help you along as well … or at least you might take it into consideration as we expect to release it as the next stable version very soon.
Here is a link: http://nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

Hello,
my side, the conflict was created by the plugin Google Analytics by Yoast
I desactivated it and now it works
Could you please check that for the next Nextgen version??
Thanks
@marionh92 – Please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.
