Next/Previous links showing same posts

Hello,
I have a problem on my home.php page, it displays the last 8 posts in the bottom. i have Previous Entries and Next Entries for post at the bottom.
The Previous Entries points to http://blog.highkickz.com/page/2/ but it shows same posts as on the first page and not the 9-16 old posts.
I have more than 50 posts on my blog.
