Nginx (Siteground)
-
Question about Nginx — my site is hosted on Siteground.
On the “Cache” tab in plugin settings, there’s this section:

We’ve added the “Browser caching rule” to our site, and the last instructions are to “Save and restart Nginx”
Problem is — Siteground cannot restart the Nginx server, and this is their final response:
Even if you have created the file in question, it would not have any effect since the change has to be done with an elevated access which provides access to the actual configuration file on the server.
As mentioned previously in my response, we cannot make any changes to the already predefined settings that we have for the NGINX service as the same differs from the standard setup we have on all our servers.
My question is… is your plugin still working on my site since I’m not able to actually restart to Nginx server at Siteground?
And / or what are the implications of this?
And / or is there anything I should do… or is it fine as is….?
Thank you again!
