NGPU functionality clarification

Will NG along with NGPU enable me to offer site users –
* The ability to upload from the front end, ie a page on the site
* Create their own libraries/albums for their photos
* Upload unlimited photos to their albums
* Each users the ability to create different albums for different rides, ie each user can create multiple albums
* Select an uploaded image as an album “cover”
* Enter an album title and individual image descriptions
Q. Does NG create thumbnails and the actual album that is displayed from uploaded images or will I need to do this on the back end? Will I need to find a shortcode and insert that onto a photo album page?

I manage a secure site for (ATV) club members only. I’m trying to port it over from a proprietary environment to WP. The ONLY feature/page I am concerned about is the photo gallery, important feature to site users. If I can confirm the above, I can get busy.
