• This does what it says it does. It’s lovely.

Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that there’s a bit of ghosting when the element becomes sticky–I applied it to my menu, and now there’s momentarily a doppleganger text that appears whenever stickiness is triggered. It vanishes within a second, but it would be better if it didn’t happen at all.

  • Thanks for your review @dimig — the ghosting effect you describe usually occurs when you have any CSS transition effects applied to your element. I can’t say for sure if that’s the case with your site, but if you post a message in the support section, I’d be happy to take a better look.

I do have transition effects active, yep.

The only thing I can suggest really, is to remove those….. The idea with the plugin is that the original element becomes invisible and is then replaced by a sticky one. Normally, that visible-to-invisible process will occur immediately, but if there is a transition present on the element, that transition will be applied to that visible-to-invisible process.

Yep, I am planning to do that. Thank you for clearing that up. I do have to keep the rating at four stars because the plugin is not entirely ideal for all circumstances. Please don’t hate me.

How dare you imply that my plugin is not perfect!!!

Just kidding, of course I fully agree that it can’t be idelal for all circumstances. Your 4-star review is much appreciated. 🙂
