It’s fixed! Thanks so much! I just enabled old comments and for some reason that fixed this issue too.

Hello all and thanks in advance for your help!

I can’t figure out why but there is no ability for anyone (including me) to comment on my blog.
I have the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” box checked in Settings > Discussion but it still doesn’t work.
I don’t see anywhere on my individual articles it could be overridden either.
