No admin bar on subfolder

    I changed the site address from domain.com/news to domain.com after building the site at /news first. I followed the steps in the guide (change site address, copy index.php and then change to ./news/wp-blog-header.php, copy .htaccess and then update the permalinks) but the admin bar just won’t show at the site, and I’m not logged in when I visit the domain.com either. Thankful for any help!

    I am having the same problem. I thought that my plugin to get rid of the admin bar was the cause, but after renaming the plugin file I am still unable to get the admin bar. Trying to get to seedministriesinhaiti.org, seedministriesinhaiti.org/wp-admin and seedministriesinhaiti.org/seed/wp-admin all bring me to the main page, and I have no way to get to the dashboard/admin bar.

    Exact same problem with WP 3.8.
