no admin notification emails

I don’t get emails when new users register.
If i deactivate the “New User Approve” plugin, everything works, i get the normal wordpress email about a new user.
Also, the plugin “Check email” tells me everything is OK with the email setup in my wordpress installation.
I recieve other wordpress admin emails regulary.
The mails don’t end in my spam.
I use the plugin “User Access Manager” to define content for specific users, but the combination did work earlier.
It seems the emails stopped comeing after wordpress update to 4.8.1 but that maybe not relevant.
