no breaks

    Hi
    I’ve inserted this code in the editor:
    <h3 style=”text-align: center;”><span class=”thin”>Elegant, eckig</span> <br>
    <span class=”bold”>einzigartig</span></h3>

    If I save this the “<br>” just disappears!
    Anyhow the preview in the live-editor still looks o.k.; but on the live site the bold span element lies on the thin Element.

    I’ve also tried “<br /> instead – but same result.
    Any hint?

    Hi Vanbrel

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The SiteOrigin Editor will mirror the behavior of the Classic Editor Visual and Text tabs. The break tag will be removed when switching between the Text and Visual tabs. The break tag will be output on the site front end if the second line is directly below the first line. This can be done using a break tag or using shift+enter.

    The Custom HTML Widget will keep the break tag in place. An alternative.
